This is immediate and cannot be undone
The moment you confirm, your account and all associated training / nutrition / health data are permanently removed. There is no grace period and no way to restore the data.
Preferred path: delete from the app
- Open the Precision Physique app.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account (the last row, under Sign out).
- Read the summary of what will be deleted, then type your email address to confirm.
- Tap Delete forever. You will be signed out immediately once the deletion succeeds.
If you have an active paid subscription
Subscription lifecycles are controlled by the store that processed the payment. If you subscribed via:
- App Store (iPhone / iPad): Cancel the subscription first via Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Precision Physique → Cancel Subscription. Then return to the app and complete the delete flow. If you tap Delete account with an active Apple subscription, the app will show the message "Cancel your subscription in the App Store first, then return here to delete your account."
- Google Play (Android): Cancel first via Play Store → menu (☰) → Subscriptions → Precision Physique → Cancel. Then return to the app. The equivalent message is "Cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store first, then return here to delete your account."
- Stripe (web / coach portal): The delete flow cancels your Stripe subscription automatically during deletion. Nothing extra to do on your side.
What gets deleted
- Profile (name, email, subscription tier, avatar).
- All workout logs, exercise entries, planned macrocycle, adaptation history.
- All diet logs, meal presets, barcode corrections, food photo captures.
- All health-sync data (HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, steps, weight, body-fat readings) — deleted from our servers immediately. Apple Health / Health Connect keep their own copies on your device; the app cannot delete those.
- Coach messages and coach assignment.
- Referral records and reward ledgers.
- Consent records are de-identified (user_id set to NULL) and retained as required for OAIC audit under Privacy Act APP 11.2 — no name or contact detail is retained.
What is retained (and why)
Australian tax law (Income Tax Assessment Act 1936, section 262A) requires businesses to keep transaction records for 5 years. To satisfy this without retaining PII, we archive payment audit rows to a pseudonymised table:
- Your user_id is one-way hashed with SHA-256 before it enters the archive. The hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
- The archive contains: hashed id, event type (e.g. subscription change), timestamp, currency, external reference (e.g. Stripe event id).
- The archive contains no email, no name, no health data, no plan data.
Sentry (our crash tracker) may hold session-level device identifiers for up to 90 days for diagnostic purposes.
If you cannot sign in
Deletion from the app is immediate. Requests by email are processed manually and completed within 30 days.
Email privacy@precisionphysique.ai from the email address on the account you want deleted. Include as much identifying information as you can (approximate signup date, subscription tier, any transaction id from a past receipt). The 30-day window is the maximum permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) APP 13.
